MORE DETAILS

Gain a better understanding of some of the unique challenges and opportunities for women when it comes to investing. One of the reasons some people don’t get started putting together a financial strategy is there are so many things to consider. It can seem overwhelming. If you feel that way, you’re not alone.

Putting off thinking about and making decisions about your long-term financial goals is essentially giving up your control. This discussion is designed to help you get started. Hopefully, you’ll walk away with the knowledge that help is out there and that, even though the financial world can seem a little daunting, there are steps you can take to cut through the clutter.

Robin Whitfield is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones (12 years) and became a limited partner in 2018. She helps her clients to identify and address financial blind spots and reach their financial goals. Robin devotes time specifically to the financial well-being of women.

Robin has supported the Livonia Chamber of Commerce for twenty years and served on the Board of Directors for six. She is also on the I-275 Industrial Counsel, a group of education, business, and policy leaders from communities along the I-275 corridor who collaborate to support the region’s growth.

She has served on the Board for the Livonia Symphony Orchestra for 5 years and has held the position of President of the Board of Directors for the last four years. Ms. Whitfield also serves on the Schoolcraft College Foundation Board to help secure the future of Schoolcraft students and prepare them for gainful and rewarding work.
