MORE DETAILS

This special American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA) presentation is unique in that Jeannette Gutierrez covers not just one factory or location, but highlights the breadth of war production everywhere. And not just Rosie, but she delves into the many ways women stepped up during WWII:

• War Production (Rosie)  • Essential Civilian jobs (also Rosie, and she explains why)  • The Armed Forces  • Volunteerism  • Female Celebrity Influencers

So many women did their part for Victory, and her presentation covers it all! There will be a colorful slideshow and an artifact table that sparks conversation. The Q&A session afterwards is always lively and Jeannette will learn as much from the audience and their family stories as they learn from her!

The Novi Oaks Charter Chapter welcomes you to our meeting. Networking and dinner begin at 6:00 p.m. / Introductions begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker. A short chapter meeting follows.

We welcome you to invite friends and family to this event. Only 36 tickets are available, so reserve early!
