We all know that ABWA is an organization that supports women. How much do you know about the many ways ABWA can support YOU personally and professionally?
Please join us as ABWA National Secretary Treasurer Genice Hall-Fowler helps us learn more about how we can maximize our membership in ABWA. She will bring her own passion about the organization and her positive spirit of helping others to inspire us to enhance our own experience as members.
Genice has been a member of ABWA since 2007 serving as Past President in the Columbia Triad Chapter in Columbia S.C. and Founder the Women Connecting Women (Newberry) league, which was chartered in 2020. She is active on a statewide and national level with South Carolina Area Council of ABWA, she is an Ambassador of ABWA, and a 2020 Top Ten Business Woman of ABWA.
Her professional credentials include licensed independent social worker and certified behavioral health coach. She has served as adjunct faculty at Piedmont Technical College (Newberry Branch) and University of South Carolina College of Social Work. She is a notary public, published author (“Grandma B Biggest Cheerleader for Me” and “Happiness Diary: Discovering Your Happy”), Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and the owner of Grateful Guidance Life Counseling, LLC. Her career spans 25+ years with service in individual, family, and group work, including adolescents, young adults, and seniors. She has worked across a variety of settings: home-based, medical office, inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, as well as nonprofit and corporate organizations.
The Novi Oaks Charter Chapter welcomes you to our meeting. There are three tickets: $22 includes dinner, $10 is with no dinner, and the Zoom option is no charge. Networking and dinner begin at 6:00 p.m. The Zoom and meeting begin with introductions at 6:30 p.m., followed by the speaker. A short chapter meeting follows. If you are attending in person, we ask that you please bring a device with you - laptop, tablet, or phone - on which you can join the Zoom during the presentation.
